I had a great time this Halloween.
Monday, family and friends came over to carve pumpkins. My parents got this
massive pumpkin at a farm in Tennessee for $20. It would probably cost
around $70 here in Florida. They gave my sister's family an even bigger one
but they're not carving theirs.
This is what happens to misbehaving nephews.
It was surprisingly easy to cut. I thought it was going to be hard. And it
didn't smell like a normal pumpkin either. Almost sweet but not very
fragrant.
On Halloween, Adam Jacob & I went over to my sister, Ariel's house & hung
out with the kids until it was time for them to go trick or treating. Later
we went back to our place to hand out candy and comics.
My brother Jacob and his son Evan. This was Evans first time Trick or
treating.
Nephew Luke in his awesome robot costume. (My dad made me one fairly similar
when I was a kid.)
The motley crue.
After Jacob took Evan trick or treating we headed back to our house. These
pictures don't do it justice but I'm confidant in saying we had the coolest
house in the neighborhood.
It's pretty handy being a dj and having a bunch of cool equipment and
lighting effects.
Marcus the Carcass!
Hell Hound or Devil Dog?
I go through the comics I bought over the past year and pull out the handful
I still want and those that aren't kid appropriate and give the rest away
along with candy. This was a tradition Dennis started when we lived together
in California. This year I also included Haunted postcards.
And in closing...
