Some of my initial sketches working on the look of the mansion.
My main inspiration was The Breakers, a mansion in Newport Rhode Island. I discovered it doing research on the internet. I printed out tons of pictures of it. In the back of my mind I thought it would be fun to visit some day. Flash forward a couple years when I'm in New York attending MoCCA and visiting my Aunt. She informs me that it's only a couple hour drive. Road trip!
I ended up creating a 3D model of my mansion in Sketch Up.
